This open-necked shirt is made of traditional Takashima chijimi, which has been produced since the Edo period. Takashima chijimi is made by twisting the weft threads more than twice as many times as in ordinary plain weave, which reduces the area that touches the skin with the uneven texture and allows for more air to flow through the fabric. Therefore, the fabric feels cool and dries quickly without stickiness even when sweating. The random texture of the fabric makes it highly moisture absorbent and refreshing to wear, making it an ideal clothing material for the hot and humid climate of Japan, and it is used for undergarments, kimonos, and other clothing in a wide range of situations. There are slits on both sides of the hem, and darts near the belly of the body that seem to have no meaning but have some meaning. There is an elastic loop at the top of the front front flap, and the first button can be fastened. Due to the nature of the product, there are individual differences in the placement of the pattern, but please note that this is not subject to return or exchange.
